Art competitions.

At Longview Community Primary School, we love art competitions! These events recognise the creative talents of our pupils, raise awareness of special events and helps to contribute to funds for the charities we support.

During ‘The Big Draw’ in October our challenge is to draw the future. All the classes are taking part and Miss Johnston will choose the winning picture from each class.

Year 3 used both art and ICT skills to create new pigs for Natwest bank on iPads. We were delighted that the judges approved the classes piggy designs! Click on the links below to see some perfect pig creations. Well done Year 3!

To mark the importance of anti-bullying week ,Miss Houlton and Mr Chamberlain hosted a design an anti-bullying t-shirt competition. All the staff thought the designs were so thoughtful and creative. The winning designs from each class were displayed in the school foyer and all the winners had their logo printed on t- shirts to keep.

One of our pupils favourite times of the year is Children in Need. Children designed a new costume for Pudsey as he was fed up being a bare bear! We had astronaut Pudsey, cowboy Pudsey ,an alien Pudsey and even a rock star Pudsey! Click the pictures below to see some super winning designs. Well done to all our pupils for raising funds for one of our favourite causes.
